We’re now looking for an experienced Android Developer (m / w) who will bring forward and constantly innovate simfy’s Android and future Honeycomb applications. You have an insatiable thirst for learning new things and enjoy sharing your knowledge. You are organised, clear-headed, willing to tackle the hard problems first, and willing to work closely with other like-minded individuals to achieve success and overcome obstacles. You are creative, and proud of the high-standard to which you work. You bring with you the benefit of experience, and a willingness to compromise on features (but not quality) in order to get things done.
You are highly skilled in the following:
• Object-oriented programming, principles and practice
• Mobile Development (Java, Android SDK)
• RESTful APIs, JSON, XML
• Subversion or Git
• Test Driven Development and/or Continuous Integration
• Sense for user experience and attention to detailsIf you are the perfect candidate, you also have beneficial experience in the following areas:
• Encryption methods
• Memory Management
• Experience researching and prototyping
• Experience mentoring other developers
